This is an
important message for Members of Anita's Fan Club only!
When you go
to see Anita in Calendar Girls - it doesn't matter if you are a
long-serving-member or one of our newer members as NOBODY is immune
to this. It is vitally important that you ALL take your ID cards
with you. Although Anita knows you, the guys at the Stage-Door do
not. And as the new cast - which is headed by Anita -are all
top-drawer actors, there will be many members of the general public
waiting at the stage-door wanting to see other cast member, and it
might be difficult to get through the crowd. If you have lost or
can't find your original ID card, please contact me, at the fan club
- you know the phone number or text/or email me as soon as possible
and I will issue you with a new one! Many thanks in advance for your

Anita will be appearing in the Calendar Girls when the new cast take
over for 3 months from 28 July to 17 October 2009.

Playwright Tim Firth who adapted the stage show from his screenplay
for the successful British film is revising the show's script to
better suit the new performers.

There will be ONE extra matinee performance each week which replaces
the current Monday Evening Show when the new cast take over on 28
July.

I have been
running The Anita Dobson Fan Club now for a number of years (2008 is
the Fan Club's 21st Birthday!) Currently, although the fan club is
smaller than a lot of fan clubs, we are a very happy club where,
when Anita is working in Theatre - especially this year when Anita
was on the long UK tour of Hello, Dolly! Many fans were able to meet
up with each other along the way, we have had many new fans who,
before, never even realised Anita had a fan club have now joined, so

membership pack, NewsLetters on a fairly regular basis (when there
is news to let you know of), a yearly spiral

(Wherever possible) Signed Birthday and Christmas cards, plus much
more. Also Anita's fan club membership yearly subscription is kept
